Knowing your rights is key to being able to uphold them. This fact sheet provides an overview of Indigenous rights – Aboriginal rights, inherent rights, Treaty rights, constitutional rights and international human rights – and how they are being upheld. International human rights include the individual and collective rights under the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, including the right to conserve and protect your lands and resources and to determine their use and development.
